Charrette II

Using the element AIR and the virtue BALANCE as inspiration, our Charrette group collectively decided to construct a portal to lightness and balance: the Good Day Door. In 72-hours we designed, constructed and erected our doorway, stood back and observed. The reactions were overwhelmingly positive: smiles, pictures, laughter and curiosity. 'Where did it come from?' people wondered. But no one wondered what it was for.

"I'm going to have a great day, now!" "I went through twice! I could use a good day!" "Brilliant!"

The success was in its beautiful simplicity. We opted to forgo any auditory or extra-sensory features that might accompany the installation and the message remained clear: the choice to make positive change in your outlook is your own.
